Final Hazard Report - Bahrain
After a whole semester of learning and reviewing the earth's catastrophes, I believe the most prominent hazard in Bahrain is the extreme heat that occurs. Extreme heat is the prolonged exposure of heat stress, meaning temperatures are extremely high a majority of the days in a year. Furthermore, I have learned throughout the course of the semester that the atmosphere has a significant role in the extreme heat forecast's. This is partly due to today's crisis of global warming, the warming of the atmosphere. After analyzing Bahrain's climate I investigated the average temperature yearly. I found that on average the mean temperature for 2021 was 29.15 degrees celsius. This is extremely warm and is considered an extreme weather condition. Furthermore, I discovered that this information checks out, due to the fact that Bahrain is located in an arid and desert area.
